Moving, Experiments and Pumpkins

Once again, I am a couple of weeks behind in getting these pictures posted. Two weeks ago, we made another trip to Tucson to help Jim and Lois move into their new house.

Here are the kids "helping". Here are Jim and Lois on the morning of the move, in front of the "old" house in Vail.
Are here they are after the move, still smiling, in front of the new house. The kids and I helped by making ourselves scarce. While James stayed behind and helped with the move, the kids and I headed over to pick up Nathan, then head down to the campus so that the kids could participate in a study/experiment for one of Nathan's classes. It also happened to be family weekend, so we snapped a few shots, since we're family and stuff.

Here are the kids waiting their turn in Nathan's "office".

It was a quick trip, but a fun weekend!

The following Monday, we headed to a local church that hosts a pumpkin patch and picked out the (not so) perfect pumpkin.

Here is the amazing pumpkin that sat on our table in the foyer and, one week later, proceeded to rot and leak its pumpkin juice all over James' wallet, keys and blue tooth.
Good times, good times!
A replacement pumpkin has yet to be purchased, but the kids are looking forward to trick-or-treating tomorrow night. Stay tuned for pictures of everyone in their costumes!
