I am 37. I am officially in my late 30's.
We celebrated this weekend with lots of fun stuff. After getting about 12 inches cut off my hair on Saturday afternoon, I came home to find a new bike and helmet waiting for me. So we all hopped on our bikes and the whole family took a ride around the block. We are all looking forward to getting out and riding together on a regular basis.
Nathan made the trip up Sunday evening, just in time for a plateful of delicious Mexican food. I requested cheese enchiladas and chicken chimichangas and James made it happen.
It was yummy.
After dinner, we had some present opening time. Arran was a huge helper and very willing to help me open every gift.
Here I am with my boys. (Notice all the kids have the red mustache. Their special drink with dinner was cranberry juice and seven up.)
And the girls...

A couple of delicious cheesecakes were the birthday dessert.
Nathie and Me
The kids put on a birthday concert, complete with homemade signs. So cute.

Nathan stayed on Monday and we had lunch at Red Robin, did some shopping at Target, Barnes & Noble (where Nathan bought me books and coffee) and another local bookstore.
When we got home, Nathan cleaned up my kitchen for me! That is one of the best gifts ever. Thank you, Nathan!
It was a wonderful birthday.
