May has been a busy month and it's not quite over yet! Here are a few of the things that have been keeping us busy.
This is an amazing sight. Riley is NOT a fan of vegetables, but here she is drinking a smoothie with spinach and kale blended in. And she actually LIKES it!
McKenna being goofy.
Piano Recital Day
We tore apart the living room and dining room. It was time for the nasty old carpet to go. We pulled out the carpet and pad, moved out most of the furniture and started prepping the floor. This girl is a hard worker. She scraped old pad off the floor and pulled up carpet tack strip using her hammer from her very own tool kit.
At this point I was thinking, "what have we gotten ourselves into." It seemed like a huge job to tackle.
We took advantage of having no flooring in the room and had a painting day. All the kids created their own masterpieces.
With Jim's help, we got the walls painted and a beautiful floor installed.
Mother's Day
The kids all made me beautiful and creative gifts.
The first waterslide day of the summer.
We made a quick trip to California to see Jim & Lois, get in a little beach time and a trip to Legoland.
To Be Continued...
